Tiff 36
As we live near cattle and I have chickens, geese, a duck and horses on top of the dogs Kye and I have, we have a fair amount a flies about the place. We do a lot to control them but was wondering about their life cycle ... if you kill a fly with a swatter or electric zapper, and it was ready to drop eggs, will the eggs hatch and feed on the flies? I have never seen any, but it made me wonder ... just cause I haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen! Does anyone know, though? The best success we have had with a product that seemed to truly control the flies we tried a couple of years ago ... a bit to expensive for us to buy right now but I highly recommend it, and we will be buying them as soon as we are able to. http://www.gundogsupply.com/fly-predators.html They come in the mail and I don't see why they couldn't be imported, or maybe there is a UK source for them?
