gurtwurz 792
eh up lads, i'm finding that my gas ram is shaking two piece mounts loose a bit quickly, and theyre good quality sportsmatch so i'm wondering if a one piece mount would be a better solution? failing that, does anybody know if center fire mounts would be better cos i'm losing zero way more often than i'd like to. or, is there some kind of way of locking the mounts with something better than nail polish(i stole it from the missus, honest...) cheers lads, wurz Quote Link to post

Edgar 1
Hmm sports match are usually pretty good, could it be the scope? But wherever possible one peice mounts are always better. An arrestor pin is a good idea, a pin on the scope mount that fits into a hole in the cylinder. Weihrauch's have these holes drilled, out of the box, don't know about theoben, does your theoben have holes drilled between the dovetails? If so buy a one peice mount with an arrestor pin. Just noticed you didn't actually state theoben, does your rifle have holes drilled? Quote Link to post

Just noticed you didn't actually state theoben, does your rifle have holes drilled? its a theoben, and its got no holes drilled, just plain dove tails. its definitely not the scope cos i've put a couple on there now, just in case that was the problem, and i've ended up with a beezer essencial on it, after trying a simmons diamond and hawke map that were in the back of the cupboaurd. funnily enough it came with a smk on it and that seemed ok, its been being a sod since i tried putting summat classier on it. i'll get a decent one piece on monday and see how that goes tho cos it'd be nice to have a decent mill dot on as its a .22. thanks guys, wurz Quote Link to post
