Here is a picture of an angora ferret i got handed in to my rescue last year it was inly about 4 mths old, the girl drove two and a half hours to pick him up and paid £200 for him and its surrogate mum as angoras cant rear there own kits, when i explained to the girl that she only lines the breeders pockets and told her why it had a surrogate mum and what would have happened to the kits from her she said she would not have got him if known this, any way he is still at the rescue despite alot of folk willing to take him off my hands but as you can see my boy quite likes him so he will stay here and will that way i know he will never be bred from, and will live a happy life. you might think i am mad but i wish to keep him so that i can record any ailments he gets thrughout his life and compare it with a standard ferret,

but please note i do not and will not agree with the breeding of this animal but atleast i can look after it until he is gone as to date he is the only real one i have ever seen in scotland as have the whole of the scottish club members, but no doubt this trend will kick off and folk will start to get them but not from me i asure you of that.

NO I'm sure you won't breed it until someone has the right money.P1

sorry but your wrong mate both myself and my partner are in well paid jobs and dont need money so this ferret will not be bred from even if you offered me £1000 just to put him over your jill with the risk of no kits living, i would tell you not for breeding end off.

me and the wife have well paid jobs lardie da, i could have swaped a ferret for a lab pup at a show lardie dar, moneys no object ... hay mate the shake mahamids got a few quid but hes racing stallons still serve mares and he still takes the millions off it. t.b.o you sound a know it all, iv got a rescue woo ho.

ferrets are only a tool in the rabbit mans kit, I handle mine look after them well and they do there job year after year.

if they dont do there job nutt erm quick n clean !

rescues are a way of moving on someones rubbish n problem.

Yet again we have another twat, so what you are saying is that i am wrong to turn down the offer for a lab pup, when i dont want one or a quick £200 for selling on an animal that can only do bad to the world of ferrets.

yet again another tosser

this is what happens when show breeders get a hold of an animal, its happened in nearly every domesticated species it was only a matter of time before ferrets would become the latest victim to these fashions in dogs they have monstrositys such as the british bulldog, the chinese crested etc, in cats you have persians, sphynx, scottish fold etc in domesticated rats you have the dumbo rat + the hairless, in horses you have the fallabella pony.

now they have turned their attention to the humble ferret, be honest; did you really think they would leave that alone? are you really that surprised?
