Terryorr 27 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 Both replies are correct mate, a 3" cartridge must not be fired from anything less than a 75mm chambered gun, a gun chambered for 70mm cartridges must only fire 2 3/4" or less. % of my shooting is foxes and have never found any need to use the 3" stuff anyway, they are expensive too.
