help fitting a yukon nvrs-f night vision scope

Recommended Posts

I have recently purchased a yukon nvrs-f night vision scope and am trying to attatch it to my bsa scorpion t10, I have tryed to use the (1 piece adaptor weaver to 11mm, 4" dovetail clamp, and 6" Pictatinny/ Weaver mounting length) http://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=BS17021&cat=412

but when i mount it there is a bit of movement as it has a small hinge and this would affect the zeroing, I have tried to fit the scope straight onto the rifles rail and it fits fine but i am worried that this may affect the line up as it doesnt look like the middle of the scope lines up with the middle of the rail exactly but is only by about 2 mm.

does any one have this scope that could help me or know anything about and how to fit it correctly, I am hoping to try it out on some rabbits tomorow night and will tell you all how i get on.

any help or advice appreciated

i just tried it in my garden and it seems to be very good even at a short distance, but will try shooting with it tomorow night, it seems to be fairly sturdy just on the rifles rail, im just unsure because the weaver adjuster is meant to convert the scope so it fits an 11mm rail, but i have seen pictures of some rifles with it and some without it.

hi ya buddy

i cant see why not about putting on your scope on the rail as for the T10 has a strange rail i call it :icon_eek: it looks flimsy but it does work well the scope should go on ok weaver mounts are good but start getting to much in the way plus the T10 is high on the rail so you could end up straining to look through it buddy give it a go like you said and let us know how you get on and davy would be the man to speak to as well cracking bloke and very friendly to

or just give me or davy a pm and we will try to help as much as we can

hi buddy

i think your worrying to much there buddy, fix it to your air rifle and take it out to zero in low light, you should have a pin hole in the objective end to allow to zero in lowlight (dusk)

i cant see why your having a prob with it ,to be honest!

my vomz fits my AAS410K fine and no movement at all,i am just up loading some pics for you to see! have a look at the mount, its pretty much the same as your nvrs

thanks for the help, i was just makeing sure as the t10 has a screw in the rail at the back and thought there may have been a complicated way of fitting it using the weaver rail adjuster.

thanks for the help
