no they dont matter but putting the best dog to the best bitch does matter reguardless of names or lines and the names of the lines are bollocks anyway how many of you who own any dogs out of any lines no the original dogs they started with?? can someone show me gollys or billys sire?? untill you can you should leave the subject any old staff crossed with a big greyhound bitch will produce big strong dogs that batter stuff half there size! get out there and source your own dogs its the only way to genuinley no what you got in your kennels

seen a fair few bull x and two of the best i seen one was m hollands dog squire and t atkins ebt x shane both were very good tools atb biza

 

Yes I agree T Atkins dog Shane was a very good dog seen the E.B.T he bred out of Shane but never seen it run herd allot about it and seen it a couple of times after a night out and it looked like it had done a few.

Could have just took a lot of stick and only had one if you know what I mean.

 

I owned a dog called Ben White and Brindle dog Ridge back in that dog came out of Dewsbury of a very good pal of mine.

 

That took 7 fox single hand a couple of Fallow in one night and would have taken a further 7 if we had got on them, didn't have a mark on him he just had a knack of hitting them in the right spot when he struck and when he hit them he hit them hard.

 

A lot of dogs bred out of him a few litters to a very good bitch called slip and if my memory serves me right I don't think one pup out of him made the grade.

I know because we tried most of them.

I sent dog over the water back here now not sure if he is still going.

 

Breeding not everything in my opinion all though proven dog to proven bitch only way to breed, put shit to shit chances are you will get shit.

 

A lot is how the pups are brought on some people just don't have any patience with their dogs and just because its bred out of very hard lines it means there's are going to be the same and start them to young.

There's plenty of shit dogs that can do that - stay out of trouble. What was he like taking stick? If he rarely took any punishment you can hardly say he was truly tested? There's dogs that take more than they should but if they have & are still at it at least you know they're game. I heard that the great dog Arthur worked the same way yours did - played it safe. Are they willing to put their head in the fire though?

This thread has turned into utter bollox !!! The top bloodlines need to be used in anything , dogs , horses , pigeons etc if you wish to produce quality , even then its not a cert , but these lines are not PURE in bullxs as over time they have been diluted down by breeding to crap bitches . Its shite people coming on here ans saying "Billy was crap , Golly was crap " when they werent , but there lines , watered down probably are . Its no coincidence that its the same stud farms that breed champion racehorses or the same kennels that breed greyhound Derby winners , as they constantly go back to undiluted , proven breeding . Plus , mix with the right lads , who keep their lines close to a select few , and you wont have to worry about buying in dogs , i was offered both the pups in my kennels at the moment and are due another one soon , which most on here would die for if they knew his sire .
