pennyoak 0
Hello I have had this trap knocking around for a while and i was wandering what it is for. it has the central compartment which i guess is for bait, a sliding door at the end and two entrances with funnels on. is it for sparrows. any help is much appreciated Quote Link to post
Urban Fox Control London 8
Is it a pigeon trap with one-way entrance gates? Edited June 29, 2010 by Urban Fox Control London Quote Link to post
pennyoak 0
it is only about 6 inches higher. the one in your picture looks taller. i thought it might be too low for pigeons? Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
Looks like a squirrel/rat/sparrow trap but I cannot quite tell from your photo OTC Quote Link to post
john b 38
This design of trap is identified as a Fuller Vermin Trap, on page 10 of John Bailey's "British Traps for Mammals" , but I can't find that corroborated anywhere else. Not you favourite book OTC I know .... Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
John Bailey's "British Traps for Mammals" The work of a rank amateur .... IMO But yes it is a Fuller trap - I looked it up myself this afternoon in one of their old catalogues OTC Quote Link to post
Matt 160
It looks like the Killgerm multicatch squirrel trap to me. I think it was made by Bethel Rhodes. An OK copy of the original Fuller IMHO. I had one kicking about here. Quote Link to post
pennyoak 0
Thank you all very much. i am surprised it is for mammals. i didnt think the funnels would stop them going back out. i only thought birds would have differculty. i will have to give it a go. i am trappping squirrels at the moment so would it ok to try this one.
