got her retreving out the water now

been getting my wee lurcher retrieving out the water now. she will come in handy if the spaniels not out. does anybody else train there lurchers to retrieve out the water. few pics of her the day

yes mate dogs love it spec with this heat, my collie whippet retrieves from water what ever i throw, my first x whip grey 6months old has got confident last week so having deeper throws now so has swim for bit, so funny to watch massive doggy paddles will get some pics,

she use to paddle like mad aswell but shes settles herself down and retrieving well. she loves the water now

mine was the same at the start but ave got a lab and two spaniels and there never out the water so that brought her on and i cross a lot of rivers so they have no option than to cross. its good if a go out with the gun and get a duck or that

my poodle x loves it, and at 10 months he probably retrieves better from water than land. He's just getting the hang of keeping paddling when picking up the dummy, before he'd stop paddling and grab the dummy just before vanishing under. A bit worrying at first lol

getting my pups into water now,my dobie loves the stuff even in winter she's with me checking the nets.my old lurcher (rip) was used for all sorts even wildfowling on a nearby estuary...great dog in water,not too bad on dryland as well
