pike hunter 0 Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 hi all just after some advice had my lurcher for over 2 months now she is 6 months going on 7 [bANNED TEXT] i got her she was on feild and trial puppy food which the women gav me some of but ended up swapping it on advice of someone to iams said it was good which i aint sayin its not just my bitches has had runny shits for a month now which they werent [bANNED TEXT] on the other i tend to give so much biscuits to me dogs but with some cooked chickens and lamb hearts and tuna always add some meat but am needing to buy some more food soon and wondering wheather to go back to field and trail or stick it out with other any advice or even recommend a better food for a 6 month lurcher thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Raw chicken would be better than cooked mate...And you say lambs hearts, if you can get hold of these. They out class any other foods for a working dog... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
pike hunter 0 Posted July 17, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2010 thanks for the reply i hav gone back to field and trail puppy i wanted a good complete dry food but i always put a bit of meat in me dogs food just of a night just scraps really bits of cooked chicken or a tin of tuna or stewing steak but can get lambs hearts easy if these are better just throw bits in save them gettin bored or am i doing worse doing this as she is still a pup i hav been trying to get a bit of weight on her so giving her plenty of complete food just dosent seem to put beef on but she look healthy not to skinny Quote Link to post Share on other sites
