Big bald beautiful 1,231
if its got the maxigrip scope rail they can be a pain in the arse to get the spring out.you also need a spring compresser.an old cut down broom handle with a slot cut out of the end will do the job. polecat3 0
you can gasram them, but you have to have 177 gasram in 177 rifle, and 22 gasram in 22 rifle, heard it somewhere if you swap one of them about, it can go over the legal limit. Quote Link to post

SteveieP 0
A gas ram is a pneumatic strut, not unlike the 2 telescoping arms on either side of the rear hatch of a motor car. Obviously, the power output is a bit different to the struts found in the back of a Ford Fiesta. It can be a replacement power unit for a springer or standard kit in some of the Theobens & HW90. maxwell 88
Can someone confirm this, I thought it was a gas strut that could be fitted to several different types of air rifle in place of a spring and a gas ram which is fitted to the hw90 and the theoben fenman, are they not two different set ups as is one not a sealed unit and the other the air can be deflated by means of a valve. Headshot08 36
DonnyC can get you a gasram for cheaper than in the shops Steve Quote Link to post
