I OWN A SHOTGUN CALLED A TOM NORTON LLANDRIDNODWELLS ITS 12 BORE SIDE BY SIDE 30 INCH BARRELS SIDE LOCK NONE EJECTOR WONDERING DOES ANY ONE KNOW ANY THING ABOUT TOM NORTON.

Tom Norton was a major retailer in Llandrindod Wells specialising in cars, motorbikes and bycycles. He also sold a lot of sporting goods, made golf clubs and, obviously, sold guns. I don't know if he ran a gun making business or if he retailed Birmingham and Belgium guns under his own name, like so many others.

 

He operated there from 1899 untill at least the 1960s and perhaps longer.

 

Have a look at the proof marks, they might give you a clue as to when it was made.
