Ace new permission in Oxfoirdshire

Hi lads,

 

Just got a granted some shooting permission next week over flowing with bunnies, rats and corvids .

 

Basically I got an order for my DVDs from a man called Mark who lives in Oxfordshire just out side of Banbury.

 

I noted that his address was on a farm, so me being a little necky as i am I decided to PM him and ask him if there was any chance of some shooting to help me finish the 3rd DVD as i was over in Oxfordshire for the month of July.

 

Being the top bloke Mark is he emailed me back saying that he was the farm manager and he would love me to come up and shoot with him as his farm was over run massively with bunnies, rats and corvids.

 

He sent me his land line number and mobile number too.

 

I phoned him on the number that he provided where I found that the farm is a pig farm, so its rat and corvid heaven .

 

Got chatting to Mark where he tells me that just at the back of the farm house is also a 10 hector field with hundreds of rabbits on just waiting to be shot. He informs me that he has only been the farm manager since last October and the man before him didn’t shoot at all so the bunnies have just got to plague numbers .

 

Mark himself is just getting into shooting and as only shot 1 ot 2 rats so far so as asked for tips and someone with a bit of experience to help him learn the sport.

 

Last week he part exchanged a old Dianaair rifle that was lying about on the farm for a HW97K in .22.

 

He told me he uses Wasps in the rifle at the moment and finds it a lot better than the old Diana that he found on the farm "what do you expenct Mark a HW97K is a fab rifle" i tell him .

 

I’ve told him to exchange the Wasps now for some AA Fields / FX and re zero to see a better consistency and accuracy which he is going to do .

 

As Im just in Oxfordshire for that month on my course he informs me that his farm is only 20 mins away so its a gift horse that i wont be missing out on.

 

He wants me to phone him next week to arrange a day and night session where we can do the corvids and rats on the pig farm in the day followed by the bunnies and rats again as it starts to get dark and then lamp when it is dark. He reckons we will get tonnes and himself has never been lamping before. (he is in for a treat)but the bunnies arnt .

 

DVD 3 is going to be a cracker lads .

 

I was just thinking that I would like to introduce Mark to you Davy as you live not too far away and with me being in Germany most of the year he will need a professional, friendly and expert marksman who knows his stuff who isn’t to far away to teach him.

 

It could be a brilliant new permission for you as well pal.

An open invitation from him for myself and wor kid when he was in the UK and now sharing a permission with other members when he can't get to shoot himself.

That sounds brilliant mate.

 

A sofa is 100 times better than some of the places ive slept on and in over the past few years buddy whilst serving on ops etc so im very grateful to you friend.

 

Ill be bringing my HW97KT and maybe my HW95K once she has been customised too.

 

If you can kindly PM me your address Davy ill get Adi to post the R10 to yours once she is customised and blue printed so we can break her in as well buddy.
