Mr Hunter 31
Just been browsing on Epupz and came across this add and im no expert on prices of well bred dogs but to me this seemed a bit pricey for a relatively untried and inexperienced dog regardless of parentage. What do you lads think? http://epupz.co.uk/clas/viewdetails.asp?view=345689 Quote Link to post

coursing_lad 45
well i guess only the owner can put a price on his dog lol . to me , well it must be shitting gold . but some guys would pay it for a genuine coursing dog , and ive seen it happen . alot of money to blow if you go out and the police seize your dog Edited June 26, 2010 by coursing_lad Quote Link to post

You'd obviously have to see it run then make your own judgement , it's either well worth the money or it isn't, but if the quality is there it's not over priced, you'd have to pay that for some pedigree pups. I turned down a £1000 for a dog 30 years ago. Edited June 26, 2010 by romany52 Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
Too daft to laugh at it carnt be showing that much promise or it would have been snapped up imho some one trying to get top dollar going on the dogs breeding and anybody who goes and buys it for that sort of money without a trial of some sort all i can say is they must come by their money easily to part with that amount of cash for young untested lurcher. Mr Hunter 31
I also thought at only 13 month it cant of seen a great deal as season been over a few months unless they have been running it out of season. Quote Link to post

You're right didn't notice it's age, can't even get a proper trial till December at least. So reckon he'll be keeping it for now, come to think about it, if it was as good as the price suggests,he wouldn't even be trying to sell this time of year. Quote Link to post
