STUNTMAN 552
I never had one but I bred a litter of 1st cross Belgian Malinois. They seem as pups very nice but being young and dumb felt they were going to be “to†slow. I passed them out to some fellow hunters and learned an important lesson. If you want to do something do it yourself. Lost contact of most and lost the litter by 24 months and wasn’t able to make the next cross to ¾ which I was banking on. Some went to Canada and did very well up there with fox and barn hunting for coons. This guy in the picture was a straight up deer dog by 14-16 months. Mali stud -GH dam 14 months Female around 5 months Quote Link to post

Ask skycat off here, shes the columist in the countrymans weekly sold nationwide... she has owned them... If i recall she said they were fearless but not the best lurcher for any allround work, and not the quickest... Quote Link to post
CI HIR 13
That dog looks a handy tool.I think that a good German,Belgian or Dutch Shepherd has a lot to offer in lurcher breeding. Quote Link to post

REED1 1
Hi, I have seen quite a few Mals and worked with several. I love the breed and believe the good ones are the best working dogs in the world. There does seem to be a fair shake of poor ones also. The mals I have seen have all been in working situations, but I believe that a good mal crossed into a lurcher or stag could be a asset. They have a intensity and focus that I believe would make for a nice cross. Reed Quote Link to post
Trigger 26
ive used first cross alsation/greyhounds. they are a very good cross of dog and will take alot of hard work, they are also more than capable of turning there hands to any job asked of them. they look slow as alot of first crosses do but they are faster than what you think. ive seen them take fox and hare daytime single handed, greyhound dog over alsation bitch produces better working dogs both mentaly and physically imo. i have a alsation/whippet she is a o.k little bitch. my main dog has alsation in him aswell.
