KC REGISTERD WHIPPETS AS WORKERS?

i statrted out ferreting with whippets non kc over 30 years ago my dad bread them mostly blues, any way they make first class ferreting dogs and spot on for lamping rabbits not too good on distance but for 70 yards or less hard to beet if its just for rabbitsi would get a whippet

my own was like a rubber ball bounced of all sorts of shit with no harm done, you do tend to cringe every time they hit a hedge but i didn't have any bother.some one with more time with them might say different.

saw laguna bred pups in this weeks yellow paper for 350 :icon_eek: i paid 80 for mine.

got a whippet greyhound cross and my collie line has unregisterd whippet greyhound in them im lucky to get top class grew blood very feiry and will go for anything i rate the racing grews better than the registerd blood tess is 23 a bit big for you maybe but she can run and catch for fun very good little dog ,she catches everything in my neck of the woods that ive asked of her a bit light for bigger qaurry but rabbits hares get not much chance but you must not run them on shitty land etc

shes not knocked up yet but i ran her hard when she was young and is no full on hard or rough land all depends how much work you give them all the best

What ever i get, will be getting a fair bit of work, but not as much as some i know.

The ground over here where i am, can be rough and not the most flatest of lands at times.

I will see, all in its good time.
