jonansuki 21 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 i made my own lamp was fine untill i needed a longer wire i wired it all hooked it on to the battery and the thing went on fire i threw it across the room landed on missus new carpet an melted to it ha ha ha she not happy lol so will be buying a proper one now Quote Link to post

black recking it 730 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 how do you go about re wiring them atb poacherman they come apart inside the handle bud at the spades take it from there or small cable tie out side handle and inside bud stops the movement and getting pulled it a pain in the but i ended up smashing mine was doing my head in and bought a new onemake sure it wasnt connection to battery Quote Link to post

The wiring is shit on them lamps. It can be rewired easy enough but why should you have to after paying good money for it. Quote Link to post

wirral countryman 2,110 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 I put a new wire lead on mine after a couple of times out with it,it was cr*p both ends,first the fuse end broke off whilst out lamping,then the switch end f*cked up,and it always happens when you're right in the middle of either squeaking or walking up,its now a decent lamp without the fuse and a better cable on it,atb,wirralman Quote Link to post

jackwhippet 3 Posted June 25, 2010 Report Share Posted June 25, 2010 clulite is the same on mine shit wiring and just set it back to them to fix on tuesday had it delivered back this morning all fixed postage repayed to me and a spare bulb off them hows that for service cant fault them. but it is annoying when it plays up when your on a course?
