neil cooney 10,416 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) If like 99% of us your butchering your venison in a shed all you need is 2 bits of rope and 2 S hooks to hang your deer from for skinning and splitting the beast. Tie the rope a few feet apart from each other at the right level with a loop at the end for the hooks and hang from the rafters or frame. Your local butcher will have sales reps in and out on a weekly basis selling knives, steels, hooks etc. Get the butcher to buy them for you through the trade.
