Labours answer if they'd gotten back in was to tax the working man whilst throwing shit loads of money at benefit cheats, Johnny foriegner etc.

We all knew taxes would have to rise at least with vat it's spread more evenly and equally, the chavs with their bling and burberry clad scrotes on benefits will be paying something towards the recovery as well as the worker.

On another note I read today there were cases of claimants receiving up to £2000.00 a week for housing, how the hell is that possible and if it is true don't anyone ever try and defend labour policies.

Indirectly it is down to people claiming benefits rather than working, directly down to governments allowing a situation to exist where people are better off not working than working and yes consecutive governments are to blame but none more so than that last shower of shite we had for thirteen years, the benefit culture exploded under their term in office to unbelievable and unsustainable levels. We had people on unemployment benefits in this country and 82 thousand polish immigrants found work that they couldn't seem to. A massive overhaul of the benefit system is needed, this pish it's not worth my while working needs to change.

1st -£7500 of wage tax free, tax same, no change

reduce benefits, & asess disable scroung, for genuin peoples ok.

big men with big big wage pay (bank men)pay 10% more tax , & also cap wage.

wages cap for all government worker.

child benefit stay normal.

No money for birth of child.

 

ok, vat up little, but price of thing go down, to compensate in shop, No real hard deal.In Euro place x3 Uk price for food & drink

Is anyone else horrified that someone on the dole should have been getting more than that and I am sorry but even 300 or 400 is taking the piss.

 

That is a sh1t load of money to get for a rented house, you could rent two very nice houses where I live in a good area and near good schools for 1600 per month.

I too was aghast at the ceiling is now going to be 400 quid a week who pays 400 a week rent if someone is Im in the wrong game :icon_eek:around where I live the going rate for a 2 bed terraced is around 95 notes a week and if it is any more you have to make the difference up yourself so where does this figure of 400 come from

Actually it hits the middle classes as most tax hikes do.

 

I think it is fair that everyone has to pay towards fixing the country not just the rich.

 

Even the poorest person in the UK gets food, clothing, a home, education etc etc....Sure it would be nice to live more confortably but it isn't a god given right.

 

No point hammering the rich or the bankers they will just move overseas and much of the above is paid for by tax raised from our financial sector. It is painful that they appear to get off scot free but there was never going to be a reconning for the bankers. We need the tax gained from the financial to pay for our NHS etc.

 

A quarter of the countries expenditure goes on the welfare state so they had to chop some of it.

 

I would like to see more cuts on public sector pensions appart from firemen/teachers/nurses etc (front line services). This is another huge burden on the tax payer...I don't get a lovely final sallery pension so why should I pay for theirs?

i know a bloke who s on disability and his missus and they claim everything under the sun an get £735 a week cash with everything else paid for its a joke ask him to do some work and he has eveery excuse going , but mention shooting and h es out everyday walking the fields over the moors busy shooting everything that moves and we pay for it , nice life

I cant see them getting that amount in cash unless they have a dozen kids.
