chartpolski 24,293
I've got a pup that's 11 1/2 month old...she won't have a serious run 'till the crops come down. You guy's who are running 3-4 month old pups...well you obviously haven't had running dogs before ! The sooner you move on to something else, the better !! Cheers. Quote Link to post

jimlampit 7
i doubt a 3''4 month old pup would run any sence.. i havnt run any pup i have raised at the age.. but i do believe you should let them have a look at wats going on. and if theres the oppertunity for the pup to have a rag on a dead rabbit all the better i think every body's got there own way some work and some dont. but keeping them keen wont hert Quote Link to post
Trigger 26
belive it or not but i have seen a pup 4 months old that day catch a rabbit on the lamp, and this was without the aid of a adult dog. was out lamping with two pups brother and sister and the bitch caught the rabbit. people under estimate the capabilities of pups imo.
