I've got a pup that's 11 1/2 month old...she won't have a serious run 'till the crops come down. You guy's who are running 3-4 month old pups...well you obviously haven't had running dogs before ! The sooner you move on to something else, the better !!

Cheers.

i doubt a 3''4 month old pup would run any sence.. i havnt run any pup i have raised at the age.. but i do believe you should let them have a look at wats going on. and if theres the oppertunity for the pup to have a rag on a dead rabbit all the better i think every body's got there own way some work and some dont. but keeping them keen wont hert

belive it or not but i have seen a pup 4 months old that day catch a rabbit on the lamp, and this was without the aid of a adult dog. was out lamping with two pups brother and sister and the bitch caught the rabbit. people under estimate the capabilities of pups imo.

you obverously dont know the damage it can cause running young dogs to early ,by the time they reach there age to run and start there learning properly they can be ready for the scrap heap just abouts ,good luck with the pup though ,but seriously just let it be a pup for now ,it will do it more good than harm

I would NEVER, EVER lamp a 3 - 4 month old pup, so there is no chance of me ever trying it !

Cheers.
