Starting them young

Last season there was a greeting match if I was going lampin,shooting diggin or out with the hounds ...I had to sneek out the house ....but he did get out a few times ...this little fella has seen more than most adults when it comes to country pursuits .....we have got a replica shot gun for his birthday on fri ....just to learn him gun etticate (spelling ) will get some pics up of the gun just got a made to measure gun slip made for it

same as that mate,my boys have been beating,fishing,ferreting,shooting AND my eldest(9yr old) has been out with me bolting foxes a couple of times.Gun wise,i take them out with a 410 shooting plastic bottles and targets they draw so they know the damage a gun can do but would never leave them to go it alone for a good few years but look forward to that day!

cant see my eldest following in my footsteps,hes more of a lover than a fighter so to speak but the other 2 have the thirst in them. :thumbs:

you cant beat taking them, love to see the smile on there face when they get one on, i try to take my young un when i can in all types of sport i get up to, the lad loves it but he just like his old fella and soon gets board when your not catching :D

I had my little lad out with me today.. He loves it, gets really excited when we get one on.. Hes only 2 so he done quite understand what to do on his own just yet so need a little help, He wants to wind in the reel all the time..
