Hi Chris

The studs I used to use are the screw in type with a quick release opening on them. Just be carefull when you screw them into the forend that the tip of the thread doesnt go to far through and touch the barrel, or is close enough to touch it when its rotating on firing, especially if you have a fully floating barrel. You may have to trim the end of the screw part. Hope this helps mate.

Chris,

There is only one allen head bolt that holds the stock in place on the 410, its just infront of the trigger guard. If you take the stock off you will be able to check how thick it is at the point where you intend to put your swivel for the bipod/sling.

Im also thinking of doing the exact same thing with my 410, and have had a google around for QD swivles and will be watching this thread to see what comes up.
