Whats the best for cleaning and deoderising kennels, as the midwife has just been and commented that it is a strong smell maybe too strong), its battles black(very similar to jeyes fluid.) that i have been using.

Even when been careful my clothes stink, any ideas?

Jeyes fluid is not good as it contains phenols.

Your better off using a deodourizer / sanitizer

Think a company called Biolink do something which may work

Or ask a tame vet or commercial kennel what they use

I know what you mean about the Jays/Black It does tend to stink ambit.

 

I’m sure Trigene do an odourless disinfectant I don’t use it my self but I have heard nothing but good stuff about and its safe in the kennels etc.

All i do with mine is wash down daily with cheap bleach and cheap pine disinfectant/Or toilet cleaner (And when i say cheap i mean 20p bottle ones out of asda),

 

Then once twice a week pressure wash it down and a bit of jayes,

Ive just been reading that battles and jeyes makes piss stink more after time.

I used to use bleach and disinfectant which was good, might just go back to that.

iam with tiny on this one we just use cheap bleach from tesco does the job just rinse it out well , atb top

At work (boarding kennels) we use trigene for cleaning shite, blood, pish stains etc and pine disenfectant to get rid of the smell. If its really bad (like full of shit everywhere) we use thin bleach. hope this helps.

 

Also trigene kills the kennel cough virus as well as MRSA and many other bugs and nasty things you wouldnt want in a kennel.

If you go on Flea Bay and type in Mistral Disinfectant you'll see the stuff I use. It's cheaper the more you buy but works for my 27ft ferret run which is just outside the back door

WELL LADS ,

 

IVE USED BATTLES BLACK FOR A LONG TIME ..... TROUBLE IS IT TENDS TO LEAVE A FILM ON THE RUN

 

I ALWAYS KEEP TRIGENE AND VIRKON IN THE KENNELS ,ALONG WITH BLEACH WHICH I ALSO HAVE USED FOR YRS AND YRS ..........

 

ANOTHER THING I TEND TO USE TO WASH THE GREASE FROM KENNELS IS WASHING SODA CRYSTALS , I ADD THESE TO HOT WATER AND A SQUIRT OF WASHING LIQUID ... THEN SCRUB DOWN THE KENNELS ..... IT REMOVES ALL BUILD UPS FROM THE GREASE ON THE DOGS COATS ETC

GIVE THE SODA CRYSTALS A TRY .... THEY ARE VERY CHEAP ...
