Molie1337 35
i quite often go to grimsby town/cleethorpes, ( dont ask why ) the foxes there are in great numbers, untill the staff turns up anyways, ive got pictures of them coming up to the car door and feeding out my hand, ( out goes the staff ) its unreal, if you want one close you dont squeak as they wont even look at you, but get a wrapper and crunch it up, they come running, my uncle has a small farm just a mile outside town, his wife was feeding the chickens when a fox come thro the garden chased down a bod and took it away, she tryed shouting but it didnt help lol, the next day the fox returned but never went home, hope the kids ok, really though, is this going to change anything!? Attack Fell Terrier 864
to be fair the kid did grab the foxs tale,it was bond to snap To be also fair!! this happened at a school and they have a duty of care and responsibilty to visitors and pupils. The child also happened to exhibit natural behaviour and unfortunately was injured. I'm sure the school would not put up with local dogs running about the playground on their own! why then allow fox's after what's happened recently?. If rats, wasps or cockroaches had been seen at the school I'm pretty damn sure the service's of a pest controller would have been asked for!! In a school environment people must be able to perceive and pre-empt any scource of likely danger to pupils and visitors? Tom Correct you are Thomas!
RicW 67
Sorry, I should have made clear that Sussex CC ground is in Brighton not far from the school concerned. Ric
kevin from bristol 95
this is what happens when foxes are caught and released to breed and breed again once they get into trouble they should be dispatched there are to many in the citys and rehoming or releasing just moves the problem and as for biteing children this will happen the more foxes there are , in canada they have had the same problem with coyotes for ages even had children killed ,there answer is to dispatch once they become large in number and,or have been trapped this is my view aswell ,im not a fox hater im a responsible fox hunter but they are nice to see if there not a problem
