LAKELANDY 29
Too daft to laugh at so the snobbery of owning a pedigree dog like this must be dieing out i bet the kennel club arnt to pleased as cross breds wont bring them registration fees in plus it must fair better for some of these breeds to be crossed to produce hybrid vigour their fore makeing a better pet thats not up at the vets every week but the silly prices for them wat can you say I agree with you totally you dont see many young mongrels at the vet but your see plenty of pedigree inbreds!!! tdavepat 8
Stroller, I can see why you love those two dogs and your pride comes through loud and clear in your post. That is a cracking picture of both of them together. I really don't want to sound patronising, but people like yourself are deserving of, and would get the best from any dog you choose to own. Why? Because you have the dog's own interests at heart, not your own ego. In finding work for them, you get the very best from what some people, less passionate about dogs than yourself, would only consider to be useless and expensive pets. I've come across a few prize knobs on this site, me included sometimes, but you sir are not one of them.

Molie1337 35
Try this for size then, my mates boss is getting a Puggle (pugxbeagle  ) and the breeder has been telling him "oh yes its a pure puggle" only £1200!! we've tried telling him, but he's having none of it! It makes me sick to think that people get drawn in by this! of course it comes with a years "free" insurance and a "puppy pack" (whatever one of those is?!) for that price i would want gold dog bowls and everything! Im not adverse to cross bred dogs at all, but charging silly money for them just doesnt seem right, but as long as there are people that get taken in by it, it will keep happening. Simoman 110
Unfortunatley far too often the cross chosen is because its "different" and a talking point over din dins rather than the practical choice, most pedigree breeds are more common nowadays hence the requirement for something "exotic"
