staffy-1 0
Thanks for the replys lads, weel to be honest it was shit today :11: . We knocked on the farmers door and was having a talk, he was saying there aint no rats left round here all weve got is a colony of feral cats now. The cats must of drove the rats away so we started at base 1 getting rid of the cats so next time the rats might be back. At the end of the day we had a total of 2 bloody rats compared to the fifty we had last year . We also tokk a few rabbits off the land for ferret food to end the day. Sorry no pics lads it wasn't worth bothering...... and devvo ermm...... in boroughbridge :11: . i don't drive there myself its a mate who takes me staffy-1 Quote Link to post

staffy-1 0
It's all about getting out and looking for stuff mate .. .. it mean's feck all that you failed to find any rat's but at least you tried.. ..Keep at the feral's they are worse than any other kind of predator in the Uk and will sharp wipe a rat population out which is good in the farmer's eye's but not the folk who want to work there dog's on them..aswell as all the song bird's.. They also breed like wild fire if left unchecked.. Keep at it mate and keep trying you will find some eventualy.. Millet thanks millet. theres a big blue one i seen what got away. Bloody hell it was huge well get him next time but hell take some doing. staffy-1 p.s. i think the farmer thinks are dogs are ok with the rats, good jpb he wasn't walking round with us this time :11: Quote Link to post

Guest Jane Russell
so we started at base 1 getting rid of the cats so next time the rats might be back. I'm interested to know if the farmer wants all the cats taken out. Most farmers I know like to have a few farm cats about. Jane Quote Link to post
Jip 0
I was up at borough Bridge on saturday at an old farm, doing a bit of rabbiting there were about 3 or 4 lads on the other side of the field, they looked as though they didnt have a clue. I got on my binoculars to see who they were, one of them had a sandy dog and there were a brown and white dog just sat there...was it you? Jip Edited November 22, 2006 by Jip Quote Link to post
david2363 42
I'd think carefully Staffy before I answered that last question "oh yeah - that was me - the twat sat in the field who didnt have a clue" :11: Quote Link to post
staffy-1 0
yes i seen you, with you r binoculars you nosey fekka . Didn't have a clue.....? It was called bolting one or two rabbits for my mates wheaton greyhound pups. How nosey can you get...you must of been watching us for about ten minutes. Should of got back to your ferreting instead of watching us you nosey git. We didn't intend to go rabbiting, even had no nets just did one small set to bolt a few for the young pups. HA ha i loved your digging aswell...... staffy-1 edited to add, i just seen this is your first post on this site and you throw abuse at someone on your very first post....?
