I've been toying with the idea of getting a fast coursing dog just for lamping hares. We see loads of hares so a dog that can murder these for fun would be handy. Its the daywalkers that spoil it for us lampers by bringing the heat on. Daytime coursing is like watching paint dry. Watching a hare run for 5 mins til it's ready to drop is like watching England playing football

You daywalkers really need to get a f*****g grip. Is it an unwritten rule that hares should only be ran with dogs in the daytime? If so, it was obvious one of your lot who came up with it. You need to realise it's not about the course it's the kill that counts.... Thats why my inferior lamping dog has probably killed more game in general than your ££££ saluki x's..... :yahoo:
