J Darcy 5,871
Well lads. No one can say a bad word about that bitch. I probably saw her run as much as anyone and i have to say she is an ace. What i have seen her do with hares in cover opened my eyes.I saw my first match 24 years ago and so i have seen a few dogs run in those years and that bitch is up at the top. I wont say anymore, but i will leave you guys with a little pic of her in action. Fabulous image JD. I've just been chatting to a guy who has some Buddy stock,...and it would seem that this particular Stud dog, has definitely stamped his mark upon the resultant progeny... Obviously, I have no knowledge of these rather special running dogs,.but I would like to learn more....And as my recent meeting with a coursing lad revealed,..I am not alone, in wanting to see more photos of these amazing animals... All the best,.CHALKWARREN... Well Chalkie maybe Saint Nick will bring you something that is crammed full of better images than that....who knows. I'm sure all will be revealed in due course. (excuse the pun)! JD Quote Link to post

I would assume the dog was rubbed down after running, its not like they just smacked a coat on it and shoved it in a dog box 1 Quote Link to post

Say whatever you like about the books. But don't slag off an honest bitch that any true dog man would be proud to own. I'm curious how many dogs do you have in your kennels regularly doing 3's and 4's all throughout the winter. The problem is that no matter how dedicated or how successful a person is with stock there is always someone to try and slag them off. Isn't that a shame. Still,if thats how it is then that's how it is. It was obvious what you were implying. What you wrote could not be construed in any other way. Quote Link to post
