Terryorr 27
On tuesday morning I left the kids to school at 8.10am and on the way home I noticed a fox standing at the top of a field 2 fields away from home.I drove past a bit and turned and parked just shy of where I saw it. I got out and started to call with just my hand on my mouth and immedietly foxy showed interest. I knew from experience if I called this fox down too close to me he would catch on and I would blow my chances of a shot later on. I went home and got the old camo,s on, lifted the beretta 303 and a handful of 36grm Eley BBs and headed up the back fields to approach him from a different angle this time. I found a gate close to the small overgrown garden close to where I saw him earlier and lifted the gun up into position and again I called with my hand on my mouth and within 15/20 seconds foxy was looking at me 15 yards away. I lifted the gun ever so slowly and pulled the trigger, foxy was dead before it hit the ground. I was home again shortly after 9.00am. I love it when a plan comes together. CHEERS Quote Link to post
