hi all just thought i'd share an amazing shot with you all, went over to my mate Chris aka reggeaman he mentioned he missed going shooting on our shared permission so i said clear it with the boss and grab your gear we got back to mine and then headed out about 9ish after a long mooch round and some static sniping over a warren using the last of the evening light i managed to pop one off the hillside not realising that it was just over a large hole so one down none in the bag the night was still and the there were no clouds not the perfect weather but we carried on over the fields to the adjacent permission got there for 12 (its a lot of land to cover) anyway back to the shot in question we were walking up a gravel path up to the farm on the hill, the path surrounds a large paddock and there are allways a few rabbits in there and surley enough there was 2 in the bottom corner of the field i got one to sit nicley in the lamp light and it was Chris's turn to bag one and bag one he did using a cometa 300 in .177 with a 4x32 bsa scope he nailed this bunny in the heart after we collected it we wondered how far it actually was so i paced it out 65meters got to be the best shot i've seen ever well done mate hopefully he will be able to stick the pics up or send em someone from his phone for you all to see

and nice write up to joey old pal and sorry to hear you lost the rabbit in the hole it's a shi- when that happens lol or in the grass and stingers

yeah its nice to have a hunting partner again gets boring on my own but to come back like that was something else and yeah lost a few rabbits in the long grass and down holes that i couldnt see its a bummer but at least i'm still getting em for the farmer i will pass on your number this eve going over for curry and the match

Chris making that shot doesn’t surprise me one bit mate as i have been telling people on here for ages now just how good a shot he is .

 

65 metres for Chris is probably like 30 metres for everyone else .

hi all. Thanks to you all for your kind remarks. I think the shot was a bit of luck too to strike it thru the heart at that distance. I was well impressed tho to say the least seeing as i was shooting a springer lol lol. I will be back on here as soon as i get my pc up and running again but til then i only have my mobile to add my comments which is pretty crap to say the least! I miss my shooting and having the crack on here but i'll be back really soon. Just wanna say thanks to joey for a good thread and a big thanks to all those who know me. (you all know who you are). hi guys... just to let you all know that the reggaeman is back

i just need to get myself a cheap gun for now so i can get myself back out with my mates and do some more shooting

to the lads who know me... i cant wait to get involved with all whats been going on while i've been away. i'm sure there's lots to tell me

if anyone has got a cheap rifle what they would take about 150 quid for i'd be very interested

i know i wont get anything fancy for that but at least i can get back out with my good mate joey on our mass of land and get some bunny bashing done again

if anyone has owt just pm me and who knows

well just thought i'd let all the lads know i'm back so be cool and peace out
