mj robson 8
Well I decided to go out and have a look for the big buck that I saw on Tuesday morning. I'd only been on the ground 5 minutes and I spotted him standing on a banking just 150 yards away from where I saw him on Tuesday. I managed to get in close to him and dropped him with a perfect heart shot at 30 yards. A nice freak 8 pointer. I shot the buck at 03:45 and then went sniping with the 17hmr, back in the house for 06:00. It's a hard life!! After a day drying in the sun he's weighing in at 610 grams so should make a silver medal. I also cleaned off a head that my mate shot a couple of weeks ago and at the end of today it's weighing in at 680g and should make a gold. Cheers, Mark. 2 Quote Link to post

tommydeer 2
Well done Mark, lovely looking heads, the one you took looks a corker, likewise does the one your friend took..doesnt look to be many penalty points on that head! The bench could do with a lick of paint though... Quote Link to post
