runforyourlife 361
what the f**k is wrong with you f*****g midnight cowboys?! there aint nothing clever or difficult about shooitng anything with the lamp, especially a f*****g cub. You could shout and they would come running in!!!! We all know what a dead fox looks like there aint no need to be sticking up photos of splattered animals up Use your head ya tit Who said it was difficult like.........? Your just another terrier boy thats anti gun am afraid. If the boy wants to shoot foxes(any age) its f*****g up to him. Stick to working your dog and he'll stick to banging them on the lamp. If he comes on slating terrier work ad say exactly the same to him. Im surprised at you lab tastic, you normaly talk sense. Your a descent guy. you say slating terrier men. Most of the shooter boys on here hate the dog lads!! They go on and on about the "ilegal activities... one guy who posts a lot in the shooter section actually said you would rather shoot the dog than the hare! It was the posting of the pic, lab that got peoples goat... Quote Link to post

To be fair mate i enjoy all ways of hunting and it really gets on my tits when people abuse others on here for there chosen methods of vermin control. The boy put up a post of a cub that he had shot for the protection of game birds, he never hid the fact there was a photo attached with it. I understand that some shooters and dog men will never get on and thats completely up to them, it only rams home the fact why theres a ban and it will never be lifted. As i said in my first post i would be just as quick to support any dog man against a shooter if i felt that he was being a bell end about dog work. Quote Link to post
ferreter.al 22
yep its dead....well done.youv got a fox problem and your dealing with it in your own way and doing what has to be done.fine.no merits for photographing dead cubs thow and putting them on an open forum. Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
It was the mug shots of the cub that got backs up pal... Says the man who has a picture of a dead fox in his profile pic! Come on, get it straight! Quote Link to post
CorkyJohn 808
Sorry Corky, who was that aimed at? If you read my post again, all I said was, either don't look at the posts that you think might offend, or if you DO choose to look at them, play the ball not the man! Getting personal, and "flaming" is sad and childish, whereas no-one minds a decent heated discussion about ethics and such. It was aimed at MM Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Im usually one of the first to complain about cub killing but the amount of foxes this man seems to have on his land is way too much and I couldn't blame him. Large litters too near one another is too much foxes and no wildlife or game could take that onslaught. As a result the fox would end up suffering too. It's just common sense fox conltrol and not someone boasting about their big ''tuff'' lurcher killing a cub. Nor is it a picture of a fox cub shot with .243 or bigger. Seems the rifle size fitted the quarry size. Would you shoot adult foxes with a .22 though? Never Never shoot adult Foxes with a .22 LR, its not up to the job FULL STOP. Reason for using .22 on Fox cub is they are called into close range (25 yds) head shot and they are gone...... This causes no distress to the other cubs as there is no loud crack from the rifle, as to all the other comments regarding posting before and after pictures, this was to show the different types of fox control used to dispose of foxes cubs have no fear and will happily pose for a picture and wairt around for you to get the gun sorted ready to shoot, this wont happen with an educated adult fox. i only post a few pictures on here now and again for others to see, if you dont like what you see keep your thoughts to yourselfs, i dont give a F#Ck what you think !!! what i do is reality and lets others who may be intrested in taking up a carear in fox control, know what is required. If you want the truth regarding Foxes they are ruthless killers, the scurge of any sheep farmer, chicken farmer, pheasant estates, I WILL SHOOT AND KILL ANY ON SIGHT REGARDLESS OF AGE !!! NEVER say NEVER!!! Quote Link to post
RossM 8,149
lads no point in argueing about it the guys with guns are always right!!!! us dog men have no rights whatsover to reynard according to them, its the law!! lol, in my opinion, and it is "MY OPINION" shooters cant be bothered to bring on lurchers/terriers to do what they bred for, but as i said thats just my opinion, ps this is not aimed at all shooters, just them who think it is there god given right, and nobody elses to deal with every fox, Quote Link to post

toby1066 413
no antis needed with hunters + shooters arguin like this Quote Link to post
zap 4
i'm amazed how he can say he knows where the vixen will move the cubs to ? i have no problem with anyone shooting foxes weather they are new born or have bus passes they are vermin and most keepers will be out and about killing foxes at this time of year simply because during the winter months they are busy feeding birds shooting or beating for other keepers Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,837
I dont know if its just me but i carnt see the point in posting pictures of the young of any animal thats been shot or killed with dogs as no doubt we have all done it at some time either accidental or were like young foxes have become a nuisance but posting pics and then gloryfieing it imho only gives amo to those that wish to discredit hunters and shooters alike. I dont think your alone Quote Link to post
