Trigger 26
id change her from a pup with no experience to an adult working well;- now wheres that magic wand? i think the best time in a lurchers life is when they are a pup and you are teaching them all you can, i wouldnt be wishing them days away mate. my dogs 6 in september and i wish he was a pup again with all that enthusiasm that he once had. appleblossom 687
Yes If I could change the ways of our 4 Whippets I would. They are all so attached to Big John as he is known in the doggie world, my husband. He has them ruined. When I go to show any of them in the ring, they wont even walk for me, try to run them they wont move for me.They will do anything for John. It has become very embarrassing for me.They jump and and pull on the lead to I have to leave the ring with them. Yet they walk and show and win in the ring for him all the time. They are definately one man dogs our whippets is.Our lurchers are no problem, they will walk with me anytime. A very good friend of ours Kirsty Harpur volunteered to take one of our whippets in the ring at the show in Westmeath last week and they played her up the same way.I am going to get a good dog Whippet and groom it myself,so I can show it on my own.
