chimp 299
Howard Hill -the guy who is said to have split the arrow for real in the old Erol Flyn Robin hood film- is one to watch if you want bow-hunting . Puma ,elephants ,even a grape off a blokes head ! Check him out . 'who is said' thats about it , it is impossable to split another arrow , the only way it can be done is if the arrow you are hitting is made out of bamboo for it to split the way it did. which means any top shot with a bow can do that . and how do i know............ myth busters lol all them walked up hares are all tame

J Darcy 5,871
Whether it was filmed on a game ranch or not it certainly was'nt an event worth preserving on film and then showing to the world. Howard Hill -the guy who is said to have split the arrow for real in the old Erol Flyn Robin hood film- is one to watch if you want bow-hunting . Puma ,elephants ,even a grape off a blokes head ! Check him out . Eeerrmm...Comanche, sorry to piss on your chips mate, but many of the animals in his famous feature film "Tembo" were actually shot with the rifle to incapacitate them first. The leopard and lion in it look to have been tethered for the film. The elephant i believe had been shot in the legs, hence it didnt move whilst being shot with arrows repeatedly. Again, i know it was many years ago, but it was not fair chase. It is a movie i have watched a great many times. And to whoever said that you cannot hunt lions in the wild, well, i think they had better do their research...

chimp 299
oh look it seems the so called drugged up tame lions are free roaming this is off the site 'Caprivi is also one of the few areas in Africa where you can still truly hunt a free roaming lion and exceptional leopards. . even the south african ranch is 18000 acres This privately owned game ranch is approximately 18 000 acres with other than the outer fences no fences inside and no smaller camps. All of our game is hunted on the free roaming ranch which is self sustainable. The lions we hunt all roam free on the property it is a hard hunt finding these lions on the property but we have had a success rate of 100% in the last 3 years. We have hunted numerous SCI gold and silver medals on our property, where we hunt exceptional kudu, waterbuck, wildebeest, lion, rhino, hippo and crocodile. http://www.rassafaris.com/ Edited June 16, 2010 by chimp
