kev2010 8
Im thinking about taking the plunge and buying a Lithium ion battery, Has any one done much with them? Interested to hear what kind of lamping time you can get from either: 10AH 14AH 22AH Cheers Tom Hi Tom.If you divide the wattage of your bulb by the voltage of your battery that will tell you how many amps the bulb will pull. Then divide that number by the amph of the battery.that will give you the continuous run time. So 50w bulb & 12v batt = 4amps.10amph batt divided by 4amps =2.5h continuous runtime.Though light will dim as the batt drains. Hope this helps.Kev. Quote Link to post

Strong Stuff 2,171
ill be getting one fr this season, i missed far to much gear lugging a 37 amp battery out the van into gate ways, its all about the speed lol Hypothetically of course ............ The 10A one fits easily into the front pocket of (my now 4 sizes too big ) cammo jacket, if you have a lanyard on your lamp then it's easy as you like to jump in and out of the car with the lamp and battery ready to go. The only thing that slows me down now is brushing my dog and wiping his feet before I let him back in the motor  I've been well happy with mine, yes they are expensive, but they are as light as fook! Technology costs I suppose. If you take me out one night, then I'll let you play with mine ................ Cheers for the info everyone, Strongstuff I hope you are talking about the battery!! How long do you find the 10A last for? Any luck with the Welsh Collars? Cheers, Tom No mate, have got them with the Union Flag on though. But like I said, if you want spend some time finding the flag you want, then send it to me, I can easily put it on a collar for you. Quote Link to post
