WELL WHAT A NICE S510 I HAVE

hi ya folks

well everyone

i have found the gun i wanted for a long time and when gary got one i really liked it so when i got the bsa i thought it was the gun for me but still longed for the air arms s510 177 and this one came up it was very well looked after by very nice reg and good friend gary (festa) and the another friend baz hodges so her she is in my garden after a zero session the results are here and were lased at 30mtrs to zero on mag 6 i am very very happy today and like i promised gary here she is the zero on a target squizzer so as you can see the s510 is as good as ever and spot on i have zero'd her with the tightest group showing the rws superfields 8.5 grains

she is dressed in a hawke map pro 4-16-50ao hw silencer and biopd plus a lovely walnut stock

Nice one mate. i Got the 510 in 177 aswell.

How do you find them rws superfields?

i use air arms field and can get near enough pellet on pellet with them at 30 mtrs.

nice is that pal, would love a stock like that for the 410 i picked up last week.

 

forgive me for being thick but hows the bolt action working on the 510 notic theres no bolt like the 300 410's. never had the pleasur of getting me hands on one of the 5's.

my 510 eats field and target but im getting pissed off with the bad quality of bent skirts so may try something else next time . im happy with mine and is pretty much spot on

well the bolt is like the action on the hw100's very smooth i then went trough 3 tins of pellets the logun penertrators 9.5 grains wasnt very good with her at all the falcon A plus 7.3 grains was very good and the the rws superfields 8.5 grains and no difference in zero with the falcon's and rws superfield both very good pellets well worth a try and all this was done at a lased 30mtrs and the squizzers head was me checking the zero after putting the scope on as you can see the scope its self was nearly spot on to she only needed a couple of clicks and then bang on pellet on pellet at 30mtrs and i was going to go out with her as well tonight but got family coming around i might tell them i have the sh-ts so i can get out lol

If youre allowed to buy new guns every other day, I dread to think how many hand bags and shoes your wife must have.

i was going to comment on the amount of guns you go through bonny lad then i realised i was just being jealous

 

my lads a left handed geek what gas gun would you reccomend in 22 calibre for bunny bashing? around about £500 budget,

the only thing that bothers me about the s510 (carbine) is that with a mod its longer than the s410(classic),so why didnt AA just make the barrel on the 510 same length as the cylinder?
