Guest king ratcatcher
Go fdor it mate, i used to use them all the time in my bsa lightning, and king ratcatcher, then brought my 97k .177, then stayed to round heads, brought the s16 in the summer, found an old tin of s h point, and found out there bang on, even out to 20 - 25 yards might even use them on rabbits when i can Quote Link to post
king 11,972
i use them sometimes they are hard hitting i find but through my gun not very accurate i have found the most accurate pellet's i have used through my gun are napier.power hunter .dommed i find them very accurate and they come all ready with pellet lube on them £6.00 a tin of 500. i forgot to say my gun is a hw 90k 22 gas ram Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
Been using them for years. Excellent pellet. Quote Link to post
J Darcy 5,871
i have trialled them but do not like them at all. no where near as accurate as the Superdome IMHO and a domed headed pellet is far better in the airgun than any other type. Quote Link to post
DUCKWING 302
OVER THE YRS IVE USED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING , THROUGH AN AIR RIFLE ALWAYS PREFERED THE BARACUDA , ELEY WASP TYPE ON RABBITS ETC ,,, THOUGH I GOT INTO A HABIT OF POLISHING THEM AND HAD A GREAT RATE OF SUCESS WITH THE WADCUTTERS ............ GOOD STOPPING POWER DUCKWING Quote Link to post
beagles 0
ive tryed bisley superfields accupell bisley magnums and now im trying logun penatrators and so far the most accurate pellet is the accupell but i find them to light Quote Link to post
maty j 6
tryed them, not bad to about 25yds then the groups open up a bit so stuck with the AA fields. would imagine they would be good on the rats. Quote Link to post
Borderer 0
For general air gunning I use accupels but I like the h points when I am rat shooting at close range, more stopping power in those connditions than the accu's. My advice is if they work for you & your gun then stick with it....if they don't, experiment. Quote Link to post
Ricky-N.p.p 0
I used to love the superdomes when i was using the hw97 but I'm now using bisley pest control out of my stealth and they are certanly doing a job ! Quote Link to post
Guest Hedgehunter
I use accupel .22 mostly but ran out of ammo back in the summer & had only got some super H points which were bought for rats a few years ago ,anyway I found them lethal at up to 25 yards for rabbits,on this land theres lots of brambles & a hard hitting pellet is needed for humane reasons. For general hunting though I still use accupel but on this farm H points are the dogs b!ll!cks.
