I USE THE SAME COLLAR ON ALL MY PUPS , AND WHEN THEY COME OF AGE I BYE THEM THERE OWN COLLAR AND THAT ONE STAYS ON THEM FOR LIFE , AND THE PUPY COLLAR GOES BACK IN THE SHED ,I NEVER CHANGE THE COLLAR ON AN ADULT DOG..... I ALSO FEED THE DOGS FROM OLDEST TO YOUNGEST , IN THERE OWN BOWL NEVER SWAP BOWLS , AND ALL HAVE A DIFFERENT STYLE BOWLS FOR THIS REASON Quote Link to post

Guest MOLLY
Yep...almost exactly the same. Khans collar has punning dogs on it...it must face the correct way, so the dogs are not upside down, its getting harder now that they are fading. The dogs bowls (all except Khans) are exactly the same. The have to have the same bowls each time, i even wash them individually so as not to mix them up They all have the same style rope leads, but Khans is a different colour...he MUST wear that lead or bad luck will happen on a walk. And last but not least, i have to go to each dog individually before leaving the house to say goodbye, incase something happens when im gone and i never get the chance to see them again MOLL. When I lived at home my mum used to let the dogs lick the dinner plates and coffee cups clean, I used to smile inside knowing that sometimes the dog had been ratting a couple of hours before  My superstition is to never have the dogs in the house when i'm eating..................... mattygg 0
I was once told it was bad luck to hold the buckle in your right hand when putting a collar on, never done it since. Off the subject of dogs, when I used to race ride my suprestition was to stand on any new tack or cloathing so it had hit the deck already! You can imagine the look I got when a prowd owner of a first time runner handed me their shining racing silks and the first thing I do is drop them and tread on them! Quote Link to post
