gerron 13
Might have been a good idea to find out about it before breeding ? Anyway.....just make sure you dont disturb them, dont handle them untill there eyes are open and the jill is happy to lert you neer them make sure they have plenty of fresh food and the jill will do the rest . stealthy1 3,964
the kits are eating meat and thay are 6 weeks just botherd about the drinking If your kits are six weeks old they should be out and about with the jill by now and drinking water on their own, all I do is make sure all my drinkers are as low as I can set them, when the jill drinks the kits will pick up how to do it from her, then its just a case of making sure you dont raise or move the drinkers are you feeding dry food? The one 8,487
From about three weeks i put a rabbit in the nest box and put the kitts on it . Then i know that from about six weeks the kitts are feeding fine and i can take the jill away and build her back up to top fitness ready for the coming ferreting season . Try watching your kitts at feeding time and see there all eating and drinking ,if you think youve got a slow one try dipping its jaw into a water bowl and see if it grasp's it supposed to lap the water .
