right, Ive tried looking for some info on the net, but cant find exactly what Im after, plenty of sites give names, makes etc of rimfire ammo, but I need more

rat shot, small lead shot, but whats the max distance it will travel?

have also heard theres a round suitable for using inside barns/buildings etc, for shooting ferals, whats it called?, have seen sites mention cb & bb but not sure if thats it, and again, a max distance it would travel

cheers all

.22 shot ammo won't burst a ballon at 15 yards. .22 Super Kolibri (which is a very short round) is very inacurate - I think it's designed for european parlour guns or something. Unless very close you won't hit anything.

Try RWS Zlang they are good in my CZ with a 16" barrel they are good to about 40yrd i got some for shooting squirrels around pheasant pens and feed bins as they would sit there feeding out the bins in amongst the pheasants and a normal subsonic bullet would pass clean through and damage the feeder or it could even kill or wound a poult ,the Zlang is about 30ftlb and 29grn and ive even shot them out of trees with this bullet and it never exited the squirrel but that was only with a safe backstop. They are the most silent bullet ive heard from a rimfire they are a round nose shape and a bit shorter than the winchester bullets i normally use, have you tried a company called Federal they make the dust shot for a 22rf but you need to remove your mod when using it.You could also try someone with a good air rifle which is also worth a try.
