Hey Fellas, hope you dont mind me having a read now and then. I Bear and Coyote hunt mostly, but have a couple Bullx lurchers Im fooling with now, and still get out with some terriers for a little work every once in a while.

WElcome Up hill Doc ,do you course coyotes? Ive allways wanted to see that,I know Dutch Salmon and Leon Almirall wrote books on it ,Ive never been able to get any footage of it on dvd or video.

Thanks for the welcome all.

 

Inan-I have coursed coyotes, but mostly hunt them by calling/decoying. I have the Bullxs to try them on the lamp and from the calling stands. There are folks here that only use longdogs (stags) to course coyotes, and there are others that only run them with hounds. Still others enter terriers during denning season. The coyote makes for good sport no matter which way you choose to pursue him.

Welcome Idyhoe. I'm not a regular here, but drop in from time to time. You have freedoms in Idyhoe that most of these folks can only dream of.
