stevieskin 4
Completely by surprise I have just been offered a further 380 acres as designated shooter. Land is split over 2 farms , but with same tenant. One farm is 180 acres of mainly pastures and an equestrian centre, second one is pasture, but with 30 acres of woodland too, so may be interesting. Apparently a guy who I currently shoot for passed on my details. Am going for a meet on Tuesday to see how it all looks , and if I decide to take it on, will hopefully get all signed up then. stevieskin 4
hi Steve good to here that buddy but make sure your public liability insurance!! is up to date? regards davy Fully paid up to BASC mate. In fact the estate that owns the land will not let the tenants use a shooter who is not in BASC. They will not entertain BASA and the others. Quote Link to post

Its amazing how many people won't entertain BASA and insist on BASC. I'm really suprised by this as BASA is run through BASC I believe Either they don't know this or they are a bunch of Name Snobs like our sons who regularly pay 75-100£ for a fecking ripped t-shirt, me I pay £5 for three EDITED to say and mine aint ripped Phantom Edited June 14, 2010 by Phantom Quote Link to post

They do claim to work in partnership to protect airgunning as a sport, but that it. Quote Link to post

They do claim to work in partnership to protect airgunning as a sport, but that it. I know its RUN by them, but I'm sure I saw in the literature somewhere that it is done/organised through BASC not by BASC. But I stand corrected Phantom Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
That's the way to do it. Get in there and do a good job, and people will pass on your details when people are looking for someone reliable and safe to do some shooting. If you need any help let me know fella! Quote Link to post
