thanks for all the advice lads had the dog on sheep land yesterday when he would look there direction i would have a little chat wit him.. brought him into a small paddoc to day with a small herd on the long lead and he didnt even look at them hopefully it was just a one of :yes:

alan, if you know any farmers well enough near you, ask them if you can tie your dog to one of there rams with a rope. the ram will bat the dog all over the place. my old man has done it with a few of

good to hear lad , i had a similar experience when a mates dog grabbed a sheep mine followed the pack but he didnt get hold of it he got a hammering for that i do alot of sheep farms the dog runs to command with no slip lead he walks through the sheep at my side with no lead cool as a cuecumber .
