whippeter69 88
The FEO was checking my land i put forward for my FAC for a .22 and he has given the go ahead for both pieces. He said there was no problem at-all and my license shouldn't take long now, gave one of the farmers that had the land check my supervision letter from my mentor and the FEO picked that up so all i have to do now it WAIT... But for how long... god knows Cant wait till the FAC comes through tho, you will see some pics of hopefully a brand new CZ 452 STYLE Bushnell 3-9X50 Sak Mod Harris Bi-Pod and Butler Creek sling ( already got the Scope and sling) The waiting game beings Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
My problem is which one to buy first. I've put in for a .243 and a .22, as well as an sgc. My main permission is the farm I work on, and she wants deer dealt with, so should really get the .243 first, but need a good chunk of money to get that. I have a couple of air rifles I could sell, but I'd rather not as they're old friends, and won't make as much as they're worth to me as a second option for close up bunny work. Filled my freezer with good meat many times over. Not being soppy about them, but there are places where a .22 is too much gun, and the air rifles do the job perfectly. I've got some premium bonds, hopefully that'll be enough to sort a reasonable .243 with mod. I've got the scope for it already, sitting atop my PCP Axsor Gemini (talk about over-scoping! ) Edited June 13, 2010 by matt_hooks Quote Link to post

MR TEA POT 1,287
Put in for mine about two weeks back, rang them the other day to see if they had recived everything and things where in order, the nice lady said yes recived everything referee forms are fine has is the form i filled in,i then asked her if the land i had put down had been cleared for firearms in the past and she said yes its cleared for a .22 rifle so just waiting for the FLO to come round. One question though will he have to check the land again or not, daft question possible but i am new to this FAC stuff. matt_hooks 188
The only daft question is the one that you don't ask fella! If you've applied for a calibre that the land is already cleared for, then it won't need checking again. Sounds like you're doing ok with yours, prolly get it back before I get mine! When did you apply? I checked, and I posted the forms and photo's off to el plod over 2 months ago now! Quote Link to post
