A rat and a carp

Recommended Posts

Hi all just a quick post from this evenings hour or so of rat shooting at the fishing lodge.

I managed to get 1 rat today which isn’t much I know but that’s all I saw and at least its 1 less that will be stealing fishing bait  .

Got a few more visits planned so hopefully ill get lots more :whistling: .

While I was waiting for the rats to turn up I filmed my mate catching a 4 pound carp.

The photos show a nice clean exit wound on the rat coming out the brain area.

The entry point was just below the rat’s eye crossing diagonal straight through the brain and out the other side  .

The other photos are of the lodge, platter I was shooting off and the carp.

Here is the link to the footage:

Cheers lads

Yep Dylans was bigger than mine :wallbash:

Im just having a few hours break then im going back later to try and nail another Roland or 2.

I went this morning but didnt see a rat about.

I did see this though and was very pleased to have such a lovely creature on my new permission.

Just for the ANTIS and TREE HUGGERS that vacate this site looking for fuel for their anti fire.

THIS RED SQUIRREL WAS NOT HURT, NOT SHOT, AND THEY NEVER WILL BE.
