Guest JOEB
For the lads that wanted to keep updated.....my bitch has just started to put her leg down in the last week, no limp, does not seem to giving her ant trouble and she is bouncing to go out bless her.......I have still got her on complete kennel rest at the moment, just giving her a quick 10 minute stretch in the garden every day, pumping the food into her........after xmas, we will start to have very short walks on the lead if the bone man gives me the ok. Cheers for now, JOEB Quote Link to post

COMPO 54
Good to see someone doing the right thing by their dog, i had a lurcher break a back leg running a rabbit when i was a teenager , you have to watch them as they dont think they are injured, my dog ran out the house with the pot on and scaled a 5 bar gate luckily she landed fine on three legs :11: but my heart was in my mouth........ Yours sounds a lot more serious than the simple break mine had, hope she comes good and has many happy years...... The break mine had healed well and she had a really good career after that accounting for loads of rabbits , plenty of hares (and i mean plenty as i lived on an arable farm in the vale of york at the time ) , and even scaring a few deer :11: (obviously i was a teenager so this was all pre-ban) Quote Link to post
