Well 1 Oblique spiral fracture , 500 odd miles & £2600 later .......this is what my dog looks like...getting lots of fuss and feeling very sorry for herself......

She has nothing to do except get fat for the next few months.....another check (& £150) in 6 weeks time to see how she is healing up...

 

The moral of this story is.......anybody without insurance...GET SOME.....thank god I did.

I really dont know F1 but the plate alone was on the invoice at £900..........also the place I took her are bone specialists, they dont do anything else.

I once had to have a dogs leg amputated & that cost £600.......

Do you mind me asking who the insurance is with Joe, that's a good settlement and quite an advert for the insurance company, not to mention an advert for your commitment to your dogs.

The insurance is with Petplan Wilky mate......the cover is for 5 dogs and they each have cover for £5000 for each injury......premium is £715 a year for all of them mate.

Good for you Joe for making sure your dogs are sorted with the insurance. Im sure shell get better and you'll have some more good days with her.

Bless her but she does look sorry for herself. I hope she makes a swift recovery. Just don't let her watch too much daytime television. It's enough to soften anyone :11:
