kobi2k4 2 Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 depends what kinda space u got really mate. now u could go for something like this whitch is 16ft long by 4ft wide and 6ft high with an extra three hutches in the roof at 4ft by 2ft by 1 1/2ft and 2 sleepers in the un painted section. or you could buy something like this witch is 6ft long by 2ft wide and 3ft high then u could just go for any kinda hutch aslong as you have a run of some kind for them to go in aswell. kobi2k4 2 Posted June 12, 2010 Report Share Posted June 12, 2010 (edited) Do you find that chicken run easy to clean out the run part i mean ? hell no its a right pain in the ass, they crap right under the coop bit, im going to make it a bit easyer by makeing a drop down door there so i can get in, but its only temp untill i build something as big as my mates that i have put pic up of. ATB Danny oops i ment to even put or im going to take the mesh off the bottom and put some vinal lino thing there and re mesh it that way i can get in and clean it better too ... As for the housing I would build as big as i could because u will prob end up getting a bigger team of ferts as the permission grows!! ATB Quote Link to post
polecat84 1 Posted June 12, 2010 Report Share Posted June 12, 2010 as with some of the above the bigger the better,ive got all mine loose in a shed and built a mesh door on the inside so i can keep the main shed door open in the day,and i'm going to build a big run on the side of it for them soon.
