Lab 10,979
Well what a bloody good start eh lads? Not so "Fabio" was it? Big Greeny butter fingers Hi Mate If we hand it out we should be able to take it, we were a bit like a third world footballing nation Geordie Must admit you were poorer than i thought you would be. Couple of lads who i was just having a beer with reckoned they the USA might give you a bit of a game tonight but i thought you made them look a lot better than they really were? higgins 75
i'm not a football technie or a football critic, but in '66 did that football weigh some? Aparrently the footballs they use today are very light so kicking that about can't be hard work or am i missing something here? Higgins.

Couple of lads who i was just having a beer with reckoned they the USA might give you a bit of a game tonight but i thought you made them look a lot better than they really were? The US are no mugs these days, they ended Spain's 34 match unbeaten run a while back in the confederations cup and led Brazil 2-0 in the final at half time... I'd probably support England should they reach the final of a major competition, but what gets my goat as a neutral is the amount of hype that gets given to the team in the media. We've been constantly told that the current generation of English players are some sort of golden generation destined for greatness ever since I've been watching football. There's nothing wrong with having pride, hopes and dreams for your team, but IMO it gets taken way too far. It's often said there's no such thing as an easy game in modern international, and I think it's high time the English media started acting with a little bit of humility and class. artic 595
Well what a game! Cracking goal as per usual from Gerrard, however they need to sort there defence out, and change that Green if they want to get further in this comp, and I'm sure Mr Capello will make sure of that. Maltenby, thats spot on.
