harrycatcat 31
I hatched 8 Silver Appleyard x's about 8 or 9 week back they are very big now much bigger than a big Mallard more like a small goose. They have access to fresh water all day when they are out on grass plot about 19metres x 16 metres and I lock them up in a shed about 8pm before foxy does his rounds and let them out at 7am. My question is do they need water in the shed overnight as I have been giving them a bucket of fresh water every night and they make such a mess in the shed and the place gets soaked there is nothing left in the morning and I caught one the other day stood in the bucket and tipped the water over. romany52 313
No mate, they don't need water overnight. I kept them for years without mate, they were fine.
